I’m Alice, the founder of Little Rêveur, a premium baby focused clothing brand created with comfort, care, and intention at its heart.
When I had my daughter in 2022, I felt a strong pull to slow down. I wanted more time at home, to be present during those early years, and the flexibility to build something that could grow alongside my family. I didn’t just want to start a business — I wanted to create something meaningful, purposeful, and truly aligned with the life I was living.
I’ve lived with eczema my entire life. Cycles of flare-ups, dry skin, itching, scabs, and scars became something I quietly learned to live with. Sweat was always my biggest trigger, and over time, constant irritation damaged my skin barrier even further. I often wore clothing to cover my skin, only to find that sweating made everything worse — a never-ending cycle.
That journey led me to research fabrics, and that’s when I discovered bamboo. For me, there will never be a cure for eczema, but learning how to manage it changed everything. Bamboo became one of the few materials that felt breathable, gentle, and comforting on my skin.
When I welcomed my son in 2024 and began seeing early signs of eczema, I knew I wanted to dress him in fabrics that truly supported sensitive skin — especially at night, when overheating and sweating are more likely. But I struggled to find high-quality bamboo baby clothing that was thoughtfully made, responsibly produced, and certified to be free from harmful substances.
That moment became the turning point.
Little Rêveur was born from a desire to create eczema-friendly baby clothing using premium bamboo & organic cotton, all chosen for their softness, breathability, and safety. Certifications like OEKO-TEX® and GOTS were non-negotiables for me — because what touches our babies’ skin matters.
What started as small ideas soon grew into something bigger. I took a leap, sold my race car, poured in my savings, and invested in myself — and in this dream. As I write this just before launch, I don’t know exactly what lies ahead for Little Rêveur, but I do know why it exists.
Little Rêveur — meaning “little dreamer” in French — is about creating beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully made children’s clothing that parents can trust and babies can truly feel good in. It’s about quality over quantity, care over convenience, and choosing better wherever we can.
